Queer Grief Club Pet Loss Grief Release
A monthly, drop-in group for those grieving the loss of a pet.

Queer Grief Club April Grief Release
Welcome to Queer Grief Club’s Monthly Grief Release for March. This is a monthly, drop-in group for Queer grievers to come together in community to share and release their grief in a supportive and nurturing space. You are invited to show up authentically and vulnerably, with no pressure to share or speak. At Queer Grief Club, we invite you not only to release the grief that you are holding, but to also practice releasing the ways that society keeps our grief small, individualized, and disconnected from community.
This is a confidential, peer-support space and there will not be a recording of the event.
Loose Structure of Grief Release:
-Welcome and Introduction & Intention
-Grief Shares
-Closing Grounding Visualization Exercise or Ritual
Cost: Free of charge, though donations are greatly appreciated (suggested donation $5-$10) so that I can continue to do this work and keep it accessible for my community. www.paypal.me/queergriefclub
Group Agreements:
-My grief experience is my own, and I speak only from my own experience.
-No advice giving unless specifically asked by an individual
-Respect and maintain the confidentiality and privacy of all individuals within the group. What is shared in the group should stay within the group.
-Recognize and appreciate the diversity of experiences within our LGBTQ community and honor the intersections of other identities within our Queerness.
-Remember to care for your own emotional and mental capacity during group discussions. Practice self-care and set boundaries if you need to protect your own well-being.
If you have specific accessibility needs for zoom, or have any questions about the grief release, feel free to reach out queergriefclub@gmail.com
